Mobile Catalog Guide to Signing in:

  1. From the homepage of the catalog, click the three horizontal lines icon

  2. Click “My Account”.

  3. Sign in using your Library card number which is located on the back of your Library card. Then enter your last name in all lowercase as the password.

  4. Once you are signed in you will be brought to a page that shows you what you have checked out, on hold, overdue, and anything that is ready for pickup.

Desktop Catalog Guide to Signing in:

  1. From the homepage of the catalog click the “Sign-in” button located near the top right of the page.

  2. Sign in using your Library card number which is located on the back of your Library card. Then enter your last name in all lowercase as the password.

  3. Once you are signed in you will be brought to a page that shows you what you have checked out, on hold, overdue, and anything that is ready for pickup.

Renewing an item on Mobile and Desktop:

To renew an item you have out, click the three lines icon located near the top right of the page. From there click “My Account”. Then click either “Checked Out” or “Overdue”.

Under each item you’ll see a button that says "Renew". Click the "Renew" button to renew the item. If there is no "Renew" button, the item is not eligible for renewal and needs to be returned.

To Return to the Homepage of the Catalog on Mobile and Desktop:

Click either the home icon or our logo. 

To Search for a Specific Title on Mobile and Desktop:

Click on the blank white bar. Type in the title, author, or subject you
want, then click the white button that says “Search” with the magnifying glass icon. Items that fit your search will come up under different tabs, including Books, ebook, Audio Books, Music, or Movies. Click the tab for the item type you would like. (paragraph break) You can narrow your search by clicking the buttons on the left that specify “Entire Collection”, “Berthoud Community Library District”, “Available Now”, and “Available Online”.

If the item you are searching for is available, great! Come on into the Library to check it out. If the item you are looking for is checked out or not available at our Library, you can place it on hold.

Placing a Title on Hold on Mobile:

“Click the title of the item you want. If the item is
available in multiple formats, you will see each one listed with a “Place Hold” button. Different formats could include book, large print, CD, DVD, Blu-Ray, and more. Click the “Place Hold” button that is in the same box as the format you would like, and then click the button that says “Submit Hold Request”. To confirm your hold was made, locate and click “My Account” then click “Holds”.

Placing a Title on Hold on Desktop:

Under Placing a Hold Desktop, change to “Click the title of the item you want. If the item is available in multiple formats, you will see each one listed with a “Place Hold” button. Different formats could include book, large print, CD, DVD, Blu-Ray, and more. Click the “Place Hold” button that is in the same box as the format you would like. When the pop-up opens, click the button that says “Submit Hold Request”. To confirm your hold was made, locate and click “My Account” then click “Holds”.

To Browse on Mobile:

To browse, leave the search bar blank and click “Search”. From there you can search by item type; “Book”, “eBook”, “Audio Books”, “Movies”, or “Music”. Below that you can select whether you want to view our “Entire Collection”, “Berthoud Community Library”, “Available Now”, or “Available Online”.

If you would like to search by a certain genre, AR level, author, etc. Click the “Filters” button that is next to the search button. Play around with selecting different filters, and let us know if you have any questions.                      

To Browse on Desktop:

To browse, leave the search bar blank and click “Search”. From there you can search by item type; “Book”, “eBook”, “Audio Books”, “Movies”, or “Music”. Below that you can select whether you want to view our “Entire Collection”, “Berthoud Community Library”, “Available Now”, or “Available Online”.

 

To search by a certain genre, AR level, author, etc. look to the left side of your screen. There should be a dark gray rectangle that says “Narrow Your Results”. Below it are all of the filter options. Click each filter option like “Genre” and select the things you are interested in.
